Something just occurred to me: When Draco caught Harry eavesdropping on the train in Half Blood Prince, why didn’t he steal the cloak? Harry was frozen, he removed the cloak off of Harry, but he didn’t want to take the cloak which by all accounts is better than any other invisibility cloak anyone has ever seen? It’s a pretty sweet cloak, bro. Plus when he got the elder wand at the end of the book, he’d be the owner of 2/3 of the Deathly Hallows (albeit, unknowingly).

Just seems like a missed opportunity.
